Ballet Teacher
Emily Francis, BA (hons) Dunelm, PGCE Cantab, MEd (Cantab), ARAD, DDE
Emily trained at the Susan Robinson School of Ballet, achieving Advanced 2 with the Royal Academy of Dance. She is an experienced and fully qualified teacher, who achieved 93% in her Diploma of Dance Education with the ISTD (Imperial Ballet) and is certified to teach PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). She has taught French and Spanish at schools in Britain and abroad. Her performance highlight was undoubtedly dancing in the London 2020 Olympic Closing Ceremony alongside Darcey Bussell. Emily helped to run the All England Dance Festival, at local, regional and national levels for many years, has acted as interpreter at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne, and has regularly chaperoned vocational students at the Wells Ballet Courses, both at the Royal Opera House and at Dar Danse. As well as running The Boathouse Ballet School and teaching for Blommaert Ballet School, she has been a guest teacher for Susan Robinson School of Ballet and Rebecca Fraiz.
